Man Who Called Ohio’s Lockdown Order ‘Bullshit’ And A ‘Political Ploy’ Dies Of COVID-19

An Ohio resident who reportedly called COVID-19 “a political ploy” and called his state’s lockdown “bullshit” has died after contracting COVID-19, reports The Sun.

OhioHealth officials confirmed Thursday that John W. McDaniel, 60, Marion, died at 1:34 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, according to the Marion Star.

McDaniel, who was the president of the O&M Company in Marion, was receiving treatment for the COVID-19 virus at Riverside when he passed away.

Weeks before his Death, McDaniel allegedly posted several Facebook posts dismissing the coronavirus pandemic, screenshots of which have been circulated widely on social media after the announcement of his death.
